Windows XP is a very popular product of Microsoft. Its very simple, easy and user friendly so many people still using windows XP. This operating system is released on 24 August 2001 and use world wide. After a long time Microsoft ended support for windows XP on 8 April 2014. If you want to install this operating system you required a windows XP bootable CD, DVD or Pen drive. 

Start PC and press boot menu key at booting time like F/8F9/F12. Select boot device and press Enter key for booting.

Press any key to continue boot from bootable CD or DVD.

Press Enter key to install Windows XP.

Now installation process system related files.

Press Enter key to install Windows XP.

Read licensing agreement and press F8 for I agree.

If you have any prior partition select it and press D key for delete partition.

Press Enter key for continue delete partition.

Press L key for continue otherwise you can press ESC for return.

Now you see unpartitioned space to create partition press C key.

Now you define size of partition and press Enter key.

Select partition for setup Windows XP and press Enter key for install.

Select format the partition using the NTFS file system (Quick) and press Enter key.

Now setup format the partition automatically.

After format setup check partition.

Now setup copy installation files on partition of hard disk.

Now computer reboot automatically. You can press Enter key for reboot.

When your computer restart setup will continue.

Now setup installing devices of computer.

Click on next for continue.

Type your name and click on next.

Type your Windows XP product key and click on next.

You can make administrator login password. Now click on next for continue.

Set date, time and time zone setting and click on next for continue.

Now setup installing network.

Select typical settings and click on next for continue.

Select workgroup and click on next for continue.

Now setup copy files for other process.

Now setup installing start menu items.

Now setup registering component.

Now setup saving setting.

Now setup remove all temporary files.

Now setup restart your computer automatically.

Now computer start.

Click on OK for continue.

Click on OK once again for continue.

This is windows XP for first time.

Click on next for continue.

Select help protect my PC and click on next for continue.

Checking your internet connection. You can skip for continue.

You can register your operating system else select No and click on next for continue.

Type username and click on next for continue.

Now click on finish for complete setup of Windows XP.

This is welcome screen of Windows XP.

After setting up personalized setting you can use this operating system.

Now you can enjoy your Windows XP.
